Our brief separates reported fact, context, and reaction. A joke can point at a broken process; it cannot replace a source or punch down at a person in a vulnerable position.
We prefer agendas, minutes, budgets, permits, inspection results, court filings, agency data, and on-record interviews. Seed items carry the original publisher, source link, and first-reported date. Recheck before treating a dated seed as current.
When a material fact changes, we correct visibly and explain what changed. Reaction lines are labeled editorial voice and are not presented as facts. AI may assist research or transcription; model output is never a source.
